It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I need your help! This is a project I can't do alone, I need audience for this :)
(So: Sorry for posting this again, I promise it will be the last time - but here you got some more information.)

This is going to be The Art Asylum's huge promotion-project for unknown but great artists - so please use your chance and help us grow! Currently we got about 200 likes - not that much, so we need YOUR help to expand YOUR audience :)

No problem, I had the same feeling at first... but in the end it is the most effective platform to advertise this time. And if you add some watermarks or something to your pictures and are careful with what you post, I don't see such a problem :)

well its just I don't have time to talk to people I haven't seen in years. I was on the Facebook for awhile had old school people mad at me because I didn't remember them. You know I just came to the point that I realized Facebook was a distraction from the people closest to me who really needed my attention.

Well - with that you're right. I just don't feel guilty when people get mad at me for such a reason, I guess that's how I handle it... just ignore :)
